MarketsConnection – What is Next?

First case shipped

It has been a year in the works, but we have finally been able to generate a sale, create a shipping label, arrange an order pickup, and have that order delivered to the purchasing customer.

So, we are good to go right?

Not so fast. Our approach this time was to do the work and testing to ensure that the major modules work. Now we must go to work to flesh out the site.

When we feel that work is well on its way we will open the site to the public with one vendor store participating. (One of our other business entities.) We will then monitor and refine the vendor and the buyer experience with an eye towards streamlining and simplification.

Once we feel that seems to be functioning, we will add another one of our business entities to the site as a second vendor store. As this occurs, we will be recording the steps and tips to assist with a setup guide for other prospective vendors.

Once we feel that both vendor stores are operating properly, we will open up the site to 3 to 5 external vendors. As they are up and running, we will look to phase in more vendors before we open up the site to a full Ontario launch to be followed by a Canadian launch.

We have a long ways to go but are confident that we are at long last on our way!

We will continue to share news as we achieve each respective milestone.
